What if the key to better programs is in the hands of the communities they impact?

Over the past 8 months, HELP for Domestic Workers and Amplify Consulting partnered with the migrant domestic worker community on a journey of co-creation. Supported by the ReThink Foundation, this initiative sought to collaboratively design a program with the community, for the community.

On 25th June 2025, we invite social sector professionals, funders, and community members to join us for an honest sharing of the lessons learned during this process - lessons that can be applied to many communities served by the social sector.

We’ll explore how participatory program design can create more inclusive and impactful programs by centering communities as experts and decision-makers in the initiatives that affect their lives. Through an open discussion of our journey - including the successes, challenges, and key insights - we hope to spark a wider conversation about reimagining nonprofit program design.
